Status Update – September 1st, 2017

Legends of Eifalia Progress: 26 Chapters Total. Plot-edit Draft underway. Five chapters complete. Chapter 6 in progress

Rough Draft Word Count: 54,337

First Draft Word Count: 12,160

Unannounced Middle-Grade Novel Progress: Rough Draft complete. 14 Chapters compete. Editing in November 2017.

Current Total Word Count: 19,920

It’s September 1st, 2017.

I finished a second project I’ve been working on. I don’t want to get into too many specifics, but it’s geared towards the younger end of the spectrum and will have a super hero element to it. And it has cats. Well, a cat. For now.

As for Legends of Eifalia (my YA novel), it’s moving along nicely. The story is flowing better than I expected and I should be done by the end of the month. My goal is to finish it in October, but that’s more of a safety net. I’m pushing toward late September, writing the same amount of chapters as well (26).

I’ve sent a few short stories to my editor and I will make a big push to get my stories out for you guys. I know you’re all dying to see my first work, so I’ll make sure I get it published. Things are only going up from here.
